Johnnie Walker Blue Label
Johnnie Walker Scotch originates from the town Kilmarnock, where John Walker began making his whisky in the early 1800s. The brand was originally known as Walker's Kilmarnock Whisky and was first sold in grocery stores in Ayrshire, Scotland. After the founder's death, Walker's son and grandson took over production and established the whisky as a popular brand. The iconic square bottle was introduced in 1860, allowing more bottles to fit into a tight space with less broken glass. Johnnie Walker Blue Label is still sold in these durable square bottles today.
