Minimun Requirements

Not anyone can drive with Rum Runners. Here are a few minimum requirements:

  • Meet the minimum age requirement of 30 years or older

  • Have at least 3 years of a clean driving record with non history of alcohol abuse

  • Have a valid Florida drivers license

How to drive with Rum Runners

Driving with Rum Runners is a great way to earn extra cash on your own time clock and meet fun and exciting people. Most drivers over the age of 30 are eligible - here's what you need to know:

Create your drivers account

Documents

Required Documents

Before hitting the road, please provide the following:

  • A valid Florida drivers license

  • A proof of residency in the state of Florida

  • Proof of vehicle insurance (if you plan to drive your own car)

  • A driver profile photo (face forward photo only)

Required Forms

Before you can be placed on  paid contractor status, drivers must provide the following:

​

  • Completed form I-9 for citizenship and employment status

  • Download and complete Form 1099 for tax filing purposes.

Tampa Alcoholic Beverage Delivery Requirements

In addition to the minimum requirements above, the state of Florida has it's own requirements for delivering alcoholic beverages that we must adhere by:

  • Alcoholic beverages must be placed in the trunk of the vehicle

  • The beverage's seal must not be broken

  • The alcoholic beverage must not be viewable to passing by traffic

  • Alcoholic beverage must remain in its original packaging
